The 5 Day Care Certificate is a key component for all new staff working in a care environment. It replaces the common induction standard previously in place. This course will ensure knowledge competency across all 15 subjects.
We will deliver training for the 15 standards across 5 full days training, including full practical sessions for Safer People Handling and Basic Life Support Each delegate will produce their own evidence for each standard that is valid and up to standard. Our trainers will assess the evidence to ensure they are ready for workplace assessment and observation.
Each delegate will completed the knowdlege competency sections of each workbook throughout the duration of this course
Every delegate must be internally assessed on the job as per guidelines set out in the care certificate by skills for care.
A good standard of literacy is essential for all delegates to complete this care certificate training course.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to provide full sign off apart from on standard 12 – Basic Life Support. The Care Certificate is designed so that staff are observed ON THE JOB – We can prepare your staff with the knowledge competency and skills to become workplace ready but the rest is done to your own internal assessment and observations. Any training provider claiming to be able to provide full competency and observation sign off is not being honest with you!
As I have told others… It is the best, most informative training I have ever attended
